Solpon ELS

Scouring and emulsifying agent for the precleaning of fibres, particularly for removing silicone spin finishes from elastane-containing goods. 

Precleaning of fibres/yarns:

Because of its good detergent, emulsifying and dispersing power Solpon ELS is successfully used for the removal of fats, oils, finishes etc. in the precleaning of CA, CTA, PA and PES.

The product is particularly suitable as scouring and emulsifying agent for the discontinuous removal of obstinate silicone charges on elastane-containing goods.

Amounts to be used:

Conventional precleaning:

                            1.0  -  3.0  g/l      Solpon ELS

                            pH-value, time and temperature corresponding to the respective fibre

Discontinuous precleaning of elastane-containing goods:

                            2,0  - 3,0  g/l        Solpon ELS

                            1,0 - 2,0  g/l         Soda ash

                                    0,5  g/l        Sequestering agent based on pH-neutral

                                                         (e.g.DELINOL VB )

                            30 - 60 min at 80°C

                            2 x warm and 2 x cold rinsing (in overflow)
